Baby photoshoot

My cousin recently had her second baby girl, so when they came over to our house, I decided to take couple of pictures of the new-born and her sister. This is how they turned up:

ColorConspiracy - Texturize 2.0 collection

Finally I got the chance to work with these fantastic papers from ColorConspiracy. Although I have all three new collection at home now, for this layout I used only Texturized 2.0 collection and it was fun!

On the grey one I used a little bit of gesso, and some embossing powder with glitter from Stampendous. Then I painted the gesso with watercolors in purple shades. 

Underneath the photo I used some solid coloured cardstock and two shades of tissue paper, paper doily, and coloured thread. 

Around the photo I made circle from Queen & Co goosebumps and candy stripers.

The title "beautiful" is made out of some old BasicGrey chipboards 

sprayed with purple spray and finished with Glossy Accents. 

...and of course some thickers alphabet.

Challenge - 4 Elements

My favourite element is definitely water. BUT for this challenge at Papero amo I found one old black and white picture from some school trip to Great Britain - and it had Stonehange on it. This made it pretty clear - I HAVE to do the EARTH. 

I used white cardstock and made the background with gesso, Mr. Huey´s brown spray and gold paint. Under the photo I used gold paper, vellum, thick cardboard, twine, 

and some wrapping paper. 

The title "Stone" is made out of BasicGrey´s Hipster collection alphabet (that I alsolutely adore), and "henge" is made out of thickers from Amy Tangerine. 

Couple of enamel dots at the end always makes it look good...

Creative kit - July

July Creative kit from Papero amo feels like far away places and summer night sky. The main part of the kit consists of the Atlantic Collection by Studio Calico. So far I made only one layout with the kit, but there is more to come! :)

You are....

I used the lovely vellum paper called "Jamestown" with the pattern of the stars, some lovely epoxy brads, cork alphabet from Little Yellow Bicycle, enamel dots, gesso and watercolours for the backround, and Hemptique hemp cord.

Glitter flower card

Today I decided to make a tissue paper flower with a splash of glitter :)

1. I cut out couple of circles from tissue paper and then cut out a spiral out of them and made it into a flower.

2. I did apply some Glossy Accents on the top of the petals.

3. Then I dabbed the flower into the glitter.

4. Let it dry..

And made this card with it - used some Garn und Mehr twine and Scrapperin stamp :)
